Victoria is British Columbia's capital city. I'm not much of a city person but Victoria has a certain charm about it, especially around the Inner Harbour area.

It's worth spending at least half a day here - be sure to explore the grounds of the grand Legislative Assembly of British Columbia (you can go inside too) and the equally impressive Fairmont Empress Hotel. A whale watching tour is always a good idea!
