Located right off Highway 14, French Beach Provincial Park campground is exceptionally convenient for exploring the Juan de Fuca coastline. The forested campground offers plenty of shade and feels quite lush.

There are 69 campsites, all reservable four months in advance via the BC Parks website. The 1km long beach is so close that you can hear the waves crash at night. There are some lovely sandy areas on the beach, which is particularly special since most local beaches have pebbles only.
