Skaha Bluffs Provincial Park is one of the best places to climb in Canada. 66 crags and over 1000 climbs can be found in three main canyons. Most climbs (around 65%) are sport routes but there are still opportunities for traditional climbing as well.

Climbing courses and lessons are available from two local companies - Skaha Rock Adventures and Hoodoo Adventures.

A network of trails provide access to the various climbing walls. For that reason, Skaha is popular for hiking as well.

Keep in mind that it is a pretty rugged environment - prepare for uneven terrain and to step up and over rocks. The trails are signed but it is still easy to get a bit lost. Bighorn sheep and rattlesnakes are commonly seen in this area. Be sure to keep dogs on a leash - we've seen dogs get bitten by snakes before.
