The hike to Miller Lake is a popular half day experience while exploring Mount Revelstoke National Park. The destination is a beautiful sub-alpine lake with turquoise water and little islands on the shoreline.
The total distance is 13.4km return from the Meadows in the Sky summit parking area with 350m elevation gain. The trail is usually in good condition and passes through several wildflower meadows.
If you have energy, I'd suggest hiking the extra 2.4km (and 80m elevation gain) to nearby Eva Lake as well. Strong hikers will enjoy the 3km return trip (with 300m elevation gain) up to spectacular Jade Pass. Or combine all three for a long hiking day!
A Parks Canada parks pass is required to drive the Meadows in the Sky Parkway and hike this trail ($22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people).
