The Black Sage Bench wine region occupies the eastern side of the Okanagan River channel between Oliver and Osoyoos. There are over a dozen wineries here, best known for Bordeaux-style reds. The west facing bench receives a lot of sunshine and heat, which is best for producing these rich wines.
