With more than 600 local farms, fresh produce is a real highlight of the Shuswap region. One way to discover it is at Northyards Cider. Located at the edge of the orchard, you can taste a variety of tasty ciders made with BC apples and other local ingredients.

The most dry ciders are British-style (my fave) but there are plenty of sweeter varieties as well. The seasonal versions (like the Pumpkin Spice in autumn) are fun to try. There are two casual patio spaces as well as some inside seating. Closed in winter.
