The main Helmcken Falls viewpoint features the most famous panorama of this 141m high waterfall. But there is another, less busy, way to see it.
The Helmcken Falls Rim Trail is an almost completely flat 4km trail (8km return) along the Murtle River.

The reward is an up close and personal side view of Helmcken Falls, often accompanied by plenty of mist! Be careful, there is no fence here.

The trail can get pretty buggy in June and early July so bring some mosquito repellent or be prepared to walk fast!

While this hike is easy, I have still rated it a '3' for activity level due to the longer length.
