Filled with fairy tale and nursery rhyme characters, the Enchanted Forest is the ideal stop for young families looking to break up the drive along Highway 1.
Tidy and well maintained, this forested theme park is whimsical, a little bit magical and a huge hit with imaginative children. There are figures to spot and small structures to go inside and climb around in.
Past the fairy tale houses and structures is the Nature Walk, a 2km long interpretive trail through the forest (apparently not stroller friendly, however). The path passes a pond, with koi fish. The trees provide good shade on sunny days.
I'm definitely not the target audience but I can see the appeal of this roadside attraction! Travelling with older kids? Check out the SkyTrek Adventure Park next door (zipline, high ropes etc)
