Message from Gemma, Off Track Travel

Sunwapta Falls is host to two different waterfalls, with the Upper Sunwapta Falls being the most impressive. It's also just a few minutes walk (300mk return) from the parking area! Don't miss stopping here while driving the Icefields Parkway.

The hike to the Lower Falls is 3km round trip with 70m elevation gain. Allow just over an hour with extra time to admire the waterfalls.

A Parks Canada parks pass is required to drive the Icefields Parkway ($22/day for a vehicle of up to 7 people).
