This beautiful church is right next to the Chapel Bridge and should be visited together in combination. Don'tjust stand outside and admire, you should enter it!
As soon as you step inside the Jesuit Church, you'll be struck by the sheer beauty of the place. The ceiling is adorned with stunning frescoes that depict scenes from the Bible and the lives of the saints. The walls are decorated with ornate stucco work and colorful marble columns. And the altar is a masterpiece of baroque design, with its gold leaf, cherubs, and intricate carvings.
And if you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the famous organ in action! It's actually one of the largest in Switzerland, with over 5,000 pipes! When it's played, the sound fills the entire church, and it's like nothing you've ever heard before.
