The Ristorante Centovalli is all about simple, delicious dishes that have been pleasing guests for over 51 years. We had lunch on a lovely summer day, and sat at the outdoor terrace area with stone tables under a leafy canopy.
Their risotto with porcini mushrooms and gorgonzola STEALS THE SHOW whether as a main course on its own, or paired with top-quality meats like New Zealand lamb and Irish beef. The menu may not be endless, but it's packed with authentic flavors and homemade goodness. With 99% of their wines coming from Ticino winemakers, this place is all about keeping it local and tasty. I also really loved the personal touch this restaurant had, they even prepared an assortment of postcards for guests to take home as a souvenir keepsake.
I'd admit this restaurant is slightly out of the way, but I would say it was 100% worth the trip and we had no regrets coming here, because the risotto was really definitely one of the best we'd ever tried!
