Stellisee is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. It is the first of the popular Five Lakes Hike in Zermatt and the easier, making it a good option for those of you that are of beginner level, or simply just want to relax and admire the sceneries and are less keen on long, strenuous hikes.

This picturesque lake offers breathtaking views of the Matterhorn reflected on its mirror-like surface, making it the perfect spot to capture stunning photographs. This hike is best done from June to early October.

How to get to Stellisee:

Take the underground funicular from Zermatt to Sunnega, then transfer by cablecar to Blauherd. From there, Stellisee is a 20 minute walk to reach its tranquil shoes.
