Situated atop a hill in the old city of Geneva, the iconic Cathedral of Saint Pierre is a perfect example of Swiss history and culture. With a long and varied history – including the rebuild from Romanesque to Gothic to Renaissance styles, and its use as a Protestant place of worship – this cathedral offers visitors a unique experience.
If you have the stamina, don't miss out on climbing to the top of the cathedral. You might be huffing and puffing as you climb up the 157 steps but it is well worth it because once you reach the top, you are treated with the most awe-inspiring 360° view of the city!
Don’t forget to check out archaeological site underneath the cathedral!
Entrance to the top of the cathedral: 7CHF, Free with Geneva City Pass Admission to archaealogical site: 11 CHF, Free with Geneva City Pass
