Nestled in the heart of a picturesque valley, Les Bains de Lavey is a heavenly thermal spa that offers the warmest thermal water in Switzerland. It's just an hour away from Lausanne, very close to Montreux as well so I think it's an absolutely wonderful idea for a daytrip!

To get to Les Bains de Lavey,take the regional train towards St Maurice, then transfer by the local bus which brings you straight to the thermal baths.

With stunning views of the Dents du Midi and Dents de Morcles mountains, this spa is the perfect place to unwind. For 30CHF, you can pamper yourself with a rejuvenating sesion at the spa andhammams (some are scented, really nice!). You can also indulge in a soothing massage at the Wellness Center, or even better, stay overnight at their cozy hotel. They also have a great lunch and dinner buffet selection that has huge varieties and relatively affordable too.

This is a really unique and local spot, and worth highly worth the experience. If you come during winter it is even more beautiful and hygge, with the steam coming off the baths and with snowy backdrops of the mountains.
