Fraumünster Church is one of the main churches of Zürich. This rich history of a church dates back to 853 when it was founded by Louis the German for his daughter Hildegard. It became an Imperial Abbey, holding market rights and even minting coins! Nowadays, the church houses 5 beautiful stained glass windows, designed by artist Marc Chagall, as well as the largest organ in the canton of Zurich. For those interested in swirling around its ancient architecture and exploring its historical stories, Fraumünster Church is worth the visit.
