Svörtuloft Lighthouse is a striking landmark located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in western Iceland.

Location: Svörtuloft Lighthouse is situated on the westernmost tip of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, near the edge of Snæfellsjökull National Park. The lighthouse stands on dramatic cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Accessibility: The lighthouse is accessible by car via a gravel road branching off from Route 574 (Snæfellsnesvegur). The drive to the lighthouse offers stunning coastal views, but the road can be rough, so a 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

Hiking: There are short trails around the lighthouse that allow visitors to explore the cliffs and enjoy different viewpoints. The area is relatively remote, providing a peaceful and unspoiled natural environment.

Best Time to Visit: Svörtuloft Lighthouse can be visited year-round, but the best time to visit is during the summer months.
