The Horsethief Falls and Pancake Rocks trails offer a challenging yet rewarding hike in Divide, Colorado. The 12.6-mile out-and-back route takes about 6 hours to complete and features stunning views, creek crossings, and a mix of shady and exposed sections. The trail leads to Horsethief Falls, a small but peaceful spot in the woods, and Pancake Rocks, where hikers can enjoy expansive views of the surrounding area. Despite some rerouting and private property issues, this hike is definitely worth the effort for those looking for a scenic adventure in the Pike National Forest.
