The first thing to do after having put your luggage in your hotel is to reach, possibly by metro, Via Toledo.
The Toledo Metro is one of the stations on line 1 of the Naples Metro, famous for its extraordinary architectural beauty. Opened in 2012, it is considered one of the most spectacular stations in Europe, with its walls covered with colorful tiles, modern sculptures, suggestive lights and large spaces that make it a real work of contemporary art.
Via Toledo, on the other hand, is one of the main streets of Naples, full of shops, cafes and daily life. Connecting the Spaccanapoli district with Piazza Trieste and Trento, it is one of the most lively arteries in the city, famous for shopping, but also for its history and churches along the way.
At the end of Via Toledo we find the beautiful and majestic Piazza del Plebiscito.

Surrounded by historic buildings, including the Basilica of San Francesco di Paola with its imposing facade, it is the beating heart of the city, often used for events and concerts.
The Royal Palace, located a few steps from the square, is a majestic building that was the residence of the kings of Naples. With its imposing façade and elegant interior rooms, it now houses a museum that tells the story of the Bourbon monarchy and offers splendid views over the gulf.
The Maschio Angioino (or Castel Nuovo) is an imposing medieval castle located in the heart of Naples, a few steps from the sea. Built in the 13th century under King Charles I of Anjou, it is characterized by an imposing fortress with crenellated towers and a large triumphal arch. Today it houses a museum and offers panoramic views of the city and the Gulf of Naples.
After visiting the Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) you can reach the seafront of Naples then Castel dell'Ovo in a few steps.
The Castel dell'Ovo is one of the oldest symbols of Naples, located on the seafront, directly overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Dating back to the 1st century AD, originally built as a Roman villa, it was later transformed into a medieval castle. The name "Ovo" comes from the legend that the poet Virgil hid a magical egg inside its walls, intended to protect the city. The castle offers a spectacular view of the sea and the city, and is now open to visitors with exhibitions and cultural activities. Its strategic position and the millenary history make it a must-see reference point for those visiting Naples.
After visiting Castel dell'Ovo you can continue your walk along the seafront of Naples and take many photos, until you reach one of the best pizzerias in town, 50 kalò (about 3km).
