Piazza di Spagna is one of the most famous and picturesque squares in Rome, famous for the Scalinata di Trinità dei Monti, which leads to the church of the same name. In the center of the square is the Barcaccia, a baroque fountain designed by Pietro Bernini. Surrounded by elegant shops and cafes, it is an iconic meeting place for tourists and Romans, with spectacular views of the streets of the old town.
