Glasgow Cathedral, located in Scotland, is the oldest cathedral on mainland Scotland and the oldest building in Glasgow. It was consecrated in 1197 and dedicated to Saint Mungo, the city's patron saint. The cathedral has a rich history intertwined with the city, surviving fires, lightning strikes, and the Scottish Reformation. Today, it stands as a parish church of the Church of Scotland, boasting stunning Gothic architecture and serving as a significant landmark in Glasgow's skyline.
