Laugabúð is an old ahop which sells handmade local products and second hand books. It's like stepping in an older Iceland, with a welcoming atmosphere, old original furniture and peaceful setting. I recommend the handmade soaps (and ask the old man to open the secret cellar for you... he keeps many books there!
