Pharmacies in Bologna

Most pharmacies in Bologna will be closed on Sundays and will not operate 24/7. The only pharmacy that is always open is this one. However, some pharmacies will be open in shifts, meaning there are always the few ones that are open 24 hours and the ones open on Sundays. These shifts will change frequently though, but there’s a way to check them (although I hope you won’t need it during your stay!). Anyway, it’s always better to be safe, so here you can find the information on shifts. To see the pharmacies currently open, select the first file (Turni della città di Bologna e della Provincia escluso Circondario Imolese) under the title “Turni della settimana in corso”. I wish I could link you to the file directly, but it is changed every week, so you will have to do a little digging. The left column in the file will cover the city of Bologna (with the red part indicating pharmacies that are open 24/24, and the grey one for those open on Sundays), while the right column will cover the entire province. Keep in mind that all pharmacies but those open 24 hours will be closed during lunchtime (12:30 pm to 3:30 pm).
