Cascata La Froda waterfall is a stunning 70 meter high waterfall located in Sonogno, Switzerland. It is easily reachable and well worth exploring with friends, family or even solo! A perfect day out includes visiting the small village of Sonogno and then heading on to explore the powerful waterfall. The route is mostly flat and easy.

HOW TO GET THERE:

The waterfall is located in Sonogno. Cars are prohibited so you need to park before the village in the parking lot.

It takes only 20 mins walk (1,3km) walking to the church and walk further to the riverbank. Follow the river upstream. You will arrive at the fall.

TIP: there is a bridge a bit away from the fall, make sure you cross it and head to the base of the waterfall.
