Arthur's Seat is a badass hill in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's actually an ancient volcano and the main peak of a group of hills called Holyrood Park. Standing at 823 feet tall, it offers killer panoramic views of the city and beyond. You can easily climb it from the east, where there's a grassy slope above Dunsapie Loch. Legend has it that the name Arthur's Seat comes from King Arthur himself, but who knows? All we know is that it's a cool place to hike and take in some epic scenery.
