The Johnston Canyon Upper Falls is a must-see attraction in Banff National Park. It's a short and easy hike that takes you through a beautiful mountain canyon, with the highlight being the impressive waterfall at the end. The trail is well-maintained and offers stunning views along the way. Once you reach the Upper Falls, you can stand on the viewing platform and feel the mist from the powerful cascade.

You will pass the Lower Falls on your way. The total trail length is about 3.5 miles (5.6km) and the round trip would take you about 2 hours.

The Bow Valley Parkway is fully open to vehicle traffic in both directions to Johnston Canyon
