The exciting virtual reality exhibition "1238 The Battle of Iceland" is receiving international recognition after being nominated for the Heritage in Motion Awards. Visitors take part in the immersive experience which transports them to the 13th century and the battlefield of Örlygsstaðir, one of the most significant battles in Icelandic history. Through the use of VR and innovative technology, visitors can really get a feel for the turbulent times of the Age of the Sturlungs.
