Comfortable Walking Shoes: Spain's cities, like Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville, are best explored on foot, so make sure to pack comfortable shoes for walking.
Lightweight Clothing: For spring and summer, lightweight, breathable clothing is key. Cotton, linen, and moisture-wicking fabrics will keep you cool in the heat.
Layering Pieces: Even in summer, evenings can be cooler, so pack a light jacket or sweater for the evenings. In fall and spring, layering is especially important.
Dressy Outfits: If you plan to dine at upscale restaurants, attend performances, or go out to clubs, pack something slightly dressier. Smart-casual attire works well in most places.
Swimsuit: If you're visiting coastal regions or beach destinations like Costa Brava, Barcelona, or Malaga, don't forget a swimsuit.
Rain Gear: Pack a compact umbrella or a light waterproof jacket, especially if you’re visiting in the winter or spring when rain is more common.
Sun Protection: Spain can get very sunny, especially in the south. Bring a wide-brimmed hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher).
Scarves/Accessories: A stylish scarf can elevate your outfit, especially for a night out. It’s also practical for the cooler evenings.
