Ko Tao is an absolute paradise for divers, beach lovers, and anyone looking for a laid-back island escape. It’s famous for having some of the best diving spots in Thailand, but even if you’re not into diving, there’s so much to do—snorkelling, hiking, beach-hopping, or just chilling with a coconut in hand. The island is smaller and less touristy than Ko Samui or Ko Phangan, but still has amazing restaurants, beach bars, and hidden coves to explore.
We spent a few weeks here on our honeymoon and loved snorkelling and diving at the local shipwrecks.
