The most impressive botanical gardens in Europe with a huge collection of plant species and cactuses from around the world (the tallest palm tree of the world is also here! On one of my photos here you can see it).

Their cacti collection is large indeed and you'll see some rare (incredibly tall) cacti from faraway corners of our planet.

If you take a walk through the garden and look closely inside the bushes, you can find sometimes cute rare birds that have their nests, so get your camera ready but please don't scare them away!

The garden was established in 1788 by King Charles III of Spain, and its primary purpose was to acclimate and cultivate plants from the Americas before introducing them to the European continent.
