New York City Hall, gelegen in City Hall Park in Lower Manhattan, is het oudste stadhuis in de VS dat nog steeds voor zijn oorspronkelijke doel wordt gebruikt. Het werd gebouwd in 1812 en herbergt het kantoor van de burgemeester en de raadskamers. In die tijd bestond NYC alleen uit het eiland Manhattan en toen was dit gebouw groot genoeg. Toen NYC uit 5 districten bestond werd het Municipal Building gebouwd.
