Elliot Bay was Privately owned up until 2021, the elderly owner would collect his $2 car park entry and you would be allowed here. Under threat of developers wanting to buy this land to create housing, a trust was created and $ was raised to purchase the land to turn it into a conservation mecca! Loads of 'great walks' will be here in the future.

In my previous notes I wrote: Twin cave low tide at the end of first beach. Rock pool at North end. We havent explored these spots so please let us know if you explore and tag us! @nz_adventures
