Hafod y Llan Campsite is my favourite in the area for tent camping (they do not take campervans/caravans and the fields are car free). It is just at the bottom of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdons) Watkin path making it the perfect base for exploring the famous Watkin pools.
It is managed by the National Trust and offers a rustic camping experience at the base of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon). Surrounded by stunning landscapes and historic sites, it's a perfect spot for outdoor adventures. With basic facilities and a tranquil setting on a working farm, it's ideal for those looking to explore the natural beauty of Snowdonia. Whether you're hiking up Snowdon or exploring local trails, Hafod y Llan Campsite provides a peaceful retreat for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
