🚗 If you have an off-road vehicle or one that you don't mind driving on a dirt road, you can park the car here: 41.684038, 23.411213. From here starts a path in the forest which is well signposted and will take you 2 hours to reach the shelter.

📍 If the road seems difficult for your car, you can park on the side in the banquette and continue to the starting point of the path, the coordinates of which I left above, on foot.

⌛ I recommend visiting also the Popina Laka waterfall, which is literally by the road. From the shelter itself, you can also extend the hike to the Yane Sandanski or Sinanitsa hut.

🥾 Keep in mind that it's a steep climb ahead most of the time.
