Baixa do Vigário is a scenic viewpoint that overlooks the rugged coastline and the Praia Formosa. It’s super colourful with a pop of blue! The vantage point offers a unique angle of the beach, allowing you to capture the green hills that surround the area, as well as the endless blue Atlantic Ocean stretching to the horizon.

To get to the viewpoint, you’ll need to drive to Praia Formosa and follow signs toward the Baixa do Vigário lookout. It's easy to find and just a short walk from the main road to the viewpoint.

• From the airport – 15 minutes by car

Once you’re there, there is a small parking area nearby, and you’ll have to walk a short distance to reach the viewpoint.
