Why Stay in a Ryokan in Nara?

In my opinion, staying in a ryokan in Nara is a more authentic and convenient experience compared to Kyoto. Ryokan in Kyoto tend to be more touristy, while in Nara, you can find a quieter, more local atmosphere. Instead of staying three nights in a hotel in Kyoto and then moving for one night in a ryokan, why not simply organize your visit to Nara and stay overnight? This way, you can fully enjoy the onsen, take a peaceful evening walk in Nara, away from the crowds, and wake up refreshed before heading to Tokyo, Osaka, or your next destination the next morning!
