Greenly Beach & Rockpools – this place is an absolute stunner and easily one of the most photogenic spots on the Eyre Peninsula! The rockpools here are super well-known, and for good reason—they’re tucked away from the swell and wind, making them the perfect place to float around and soak up the unreal colours of the water. Seriously, it’s like nature designed the ultimate infinity pool.
If you’re up for a bit of an adventure, you can camp right by the beach, which is pretty special. Just keep in mind that the campsite is perched on a cliff above the beach, so it’s very exposed—meaning if the wind picks up, you’re in for a pretty wild night. That being said, on a calm evening, it’s an absolute dream to wake up with the ocean right in front of you.
Getting in is totally doable in a 2WD, but the road is corrugated, so take it easy. If you’ve got a drone, this is the place to send it up—you’ll get some of the best coastal shots in SA. Not 100% sure on the pet-friendliness, so best to check before bringing the pup along - but I did see a few around, so should be fine!
Definitely a must-visit if you’re exploring this part of the coast!
