Plaka, in Milos island, is a beautiful Cycladic town situated on a hilltop, with narrow cobblestone streets full of white-washed houses and churches. Plaka boasts several interesting attractions, from its iconic Venetian castle to its Folk and Historic Museum, the War Museum and the Sand Museum. For those who love exploring, walking trails from Trypiti can also lead you to some of the island's most recognisable sites, such as the Catacombs, the Roman Theatre and the picturesque fishing village of Klima. In the evening, why not grab a bite to eat in one of the traditional restaurants or cafes? With its stunning views of the Aegean Sea, Plaka offers a truly unique experience and is sure to be an unforgettable getaway.
