If you’re in Ubud with little kids, you’ve got to check out Cheeky Monkey Cafe. It’s become one of our go-to spots lately, mostly because our 2-year-old is absolutely obsessed with the playground. He goes straight for the trampoline every time and could spend hours running around the elevated play area with the other kids.
The whole setup is perfect for parents who want to actually sit down and enjoy a coffee or bite to eat while the kids go wild in a safe space. There’s a good mix of locals and travellers there too, so it’s easy for the little ones to make new friends.
Food-wise, the menu’s solid. Nothing too fancy, just good stuff like pancakes, burgers, smoothie bowls and baby-friendly options too. It’s super chill, the staff are lovely, and it’s the kind of place where no one bats an eye if your toddler’s having a moment.
Definitely worth swinging by if you’re in Ubud with your family. It’s one of those rare spots where everyone actually leaves happy.
