This popular hiking route takes visitors through the idyllic Lötschental valley. The panorama trail starts at the top of a cable car and traverses the mountain through lush forests and past alpine lakes. It ends at a river where you can catch a bus back to your starting place. The route includes multiple cafes and restaurants to rest and refuel.

Our favorite time to visit this area is in mid October, when the larch trees turn bright yellow. But it's beautiful any time of year, even in winter for skiing and snowshoeing.
