The hotel

The hotel has simple chalet style private rooms (single, double, and quad). In a house next to the hotel, they have more affordable dormitory rooms with 4 to 8 beds and shared showers and toilets on each floor.

You can book just with breakfast or half board including dinner. Dogs are welcome.

How to get there

The entrance of the Roseg valley is next to the Pontresina train station, about 10 mins from St Moritz.

Privates cars are not allowed in the valley, so park at the train station and another parking lot nearby - see on map.

If you are staying overnight, the hotel offers a free shuttle a couple times a day. Arrange this directly with the hotel.

Otherwise, many people ride the Horse-drawn Omnibus, which fits about 20 people. For busy season, it's best to reserve a spot at least one day in advance. You must pay for your tickets in cash, no cards accepted. ➡️ Book here.

Many people walk to the hotel, about 1h45 from Pontresina. You could then ride the carriage on the way back. Or vice versa.
