Spain uses the Euro (€) as its currency. Credit and debit cards are widely accepted in restaurants, shops, and hotels, but it’s still a good idea to carry some cash for smaller purchases or in rural areas where card payments may not be available. ATMs are abundant, but check for any foreign transaction fees from your bank. Also, some places, especially small cafes or markets, may only accept cash.
