Festvågtind is a super popular and equally epic hiking trail in the Lofoten Islands that offers breathtaking views of the fishing village of Henningsvær. The climb to the top is steep and similar to other hikes like Svolvaer Fløya and Reinebringen, where the effort is rewarded with a super nice view looking across the village, sea and outer Lofoten islands in the distance. At sunset, this is a popular place for hikers to enjoy a drink and soak in the evening sun. In summer, when the sun never sets, the summit is often packed with people loving life and enjoying an absolutely epic adventure you'll never forget. We have hiked this many times with our dog, but it can be a bit tricky navigating some of the rocky sections on the way up!
