Nestled amidst the rugged beauty of the Lofoten Islands, Ramberg offers a some of the most beautiful views in Lofoten. Among its many treasures is the Nubbin Hike, a short but truly sweet hike that rewards hikers with panoramic views looking towards Nesland, Fredvang, and the huge peaks of Lofoten National Park. The trail starts just a few hundred meters from the center of Ramberg. You can even park right in town and make your way to the trailhead that is just across from the Bunnpris market. The hike is .75km and usually takes us between 30 - 45 minutes (with ample time for photos along the way) to get to the top. Once you're there, you can continue further into the bigger mountains that surround the village.

To get to the trailhead, walk from the market towards the yellow house across the street and make your way towards the big watertank on the side of the mountain. As you near the watertank you'll start seeing the trail that slowly climbs up the mountain, which is where you'll hike.

And if you find yourself turned around, feel free to stop in the Lofoten Shop, just across the parking lot from Bunnpris and ask for directions!
