FANGST Restaurant places a strong emphasis on utilizing the proximity to the fishing fields outside Ballstad and working with local producers and fishermen to create a diverse menu. The restaurant's goal is to incorporate the surrounding fauna, such as herbs, seaweed, and kelp, to showcase the flavors of the region on the plate. They strive to follow the "FROM SEA - TO TABLE" philosophy, where the chef and restaurant manager plan well in advance before the seasonal menu is served. The restaurant takes great pride in the quality of the ingredients and the freshness of the seafood, making sure that each dish is carefully prepared to reflect the essence of the local cuisine.
