To get a breathtaking view of the town of Svolvaer in the Lofoten Islands, there are two options available. The first is to hike up to the top of Svolvaer Fløya, which is the mountain that forms a backdrop to the town. Once you reach the top, you will not only see Svolvaer but also the nearby mountain peaks and islands in the distance. The other option is to climb Svolvaergeita, a pinnacle of rock that is a popular spot for rock climbers. This rock is located on the slope of Fløya and offers a unique view of Svolvaer from its peak. We were lucky enough to do both on the same afternoon, making it one of our most unforgettable days in Lofoten.
