Papamoa Hills Summit is a stunning trail located in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This most popular hiking track takes hikers up the stunning summit providing them with spectacular views of Mauao, Tauranga Harbour and Whale Island. While the initial steps are quite steep, the climb is relatively easy and it is well worth the effort for the beautiful views waiting at the top. It will take you around 45 minutes to get to the top but your effort will be well rewarded with those views.

Photography info: I have visited Papamoa Hills Summit many times but my favourite time is at sunrise watching the sun rise over the ocean. It creates beautiful golden light over the landscape and you'll most likely be the only person up there. Take your wide angle and zoom lens with you for this spot.
