The Lake Wanaka foreshore at sunrise and sunset is a perfect location to take reflection photos on a still day and capture the mountains at their best.

There is plenty of parking along the waterfront and depending on the lake level lots of puddles and shallow places where reflections are perfect.

A wide angle lens is good for this spot to capture the mountains and scenery.
