The lodge is easily accessible from Auckland, and only requires minimal amenities; meaning you'll have to be independent when it comes to camping here. Cold-water showers and toilets are available, but don't forget your own drinking water. There is a fee of $10 per person and $30 for a family up to 4 people per night (maximum 6.5m motorhomes can enter the campsite).
