The Shakespeare Cliff Lookout is a short 5 minute walk to a spectacular sweeping ocean view from its elevated position across from the Cooks Beach harbour. The cliff lookout also provides a beautiful view over the secluded beach Lonely Bay. During the Summer Time in New Zealand (Dec - Jan) the red Pohutukawa tree flowers are in bloom and this spot in particular looks beautiful on the camera with the pop of red colour.

Take your wide angle (16-35mm) and mid range zoom (24-70mm) for this little spot and although I haven't tried it at sunrise or sunset yet, the golden hour at sunrise would look particularly magic with the sun rising in the east and lighting up the bay.
