The Mount Cook Road is an incredible driving road located in New Zealand's South Island which leads to the picturesque Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. It offers stunning views of the surrounding Lake Pukaki and Aoraki Mt. Cook, with its classic summit towering in the background.

The photo opportunity at 'Peter's Lookout' along the Mount Cook Road is one of the most memorable experiences and one of the best photo locations in the National Park. There is plenty of parking available and lots of opportunities with the camera. Be sure to take your zoom lens if you have one to make Mt. Cook appear more predominant in the frame. This spot works well at both sunrise and sunset for golden hour.
